Twitter fue el primer medio por el que la mayora nos enteramos sobre la muerte de Steve Jobs. Como ustedes saben, la plataforma siempre se ha prestado para dar información en tiempo real, y en menos de cinco horas, después de que Apple anunció que Steve Jobs había fallecido, 1,4 millones de tweets ya se habían enviado con su nombre, esto de acuerdo con analistas de los medios sociales Sysomos.
Storify, un servicio que permite recoger tweets y otras formas de medios de comunicación en una sola corriente integrada, publicó una lista de los 10 tweets que han sido más citados por sus usuarios.
Bill Gates y Barack Obama encabecen dicha lista, pero nos sorprendió encontrar arrobas como los del periodista deportivo Darren Rovell o el rapero Snoop Dogg que han movido miles de RT sobre el tema en dicha red social.
