Blog Design Trends 2006
Vía Torresburriel llego a la traducción de la predicción de tendencias para diseño de weblogs, elaborada originalmente por Rachel Cunliffe, fundadora de Cre8d design. Corto y pego sin más:
- Tipos grandes. Es decir, que se acabaron los tamaños de letra pequeños e ilegibles. Ahora lo que se va a llevar es grande. Se puede ver en Whitespace.
- Filete superior. Lo iba a traducir como borde superior, pero como el cachondeo iba a ser generalizado, lo dejamos en filete superior. Es decir, que se va a llevar un filete en la zona superior que ocupe todo lo ancho de la pantalla, independientemente de la anchura elegida para la caja de trabajo (mancha) del weblog. Se puede ver en Whitespace.
- Encabezados y pies de página grandes. Y es que, como parece, se lleva lo grande. Que no sea por escatimar píxeles, o
em's. Se puede ver en The Hot Crew. - Colores brillantes. Rellenemos las cajas de contenido de colores brillantes e incorporemos un sutil degradado. Estaremos a la moda, sin duda. Se puede ver en 9 Rules.
- Comentarios dentro de un bocadillo. ¿Recordáis los tebeos en los que los personajes hablaban y sus palabras estaban dentro de un globito encima de sus cabezas? Pues eso es un bocadillo. Y los comentarios externos van a estar metidos dentro de un objeto con forma de bocadillo, o globito de ese tipo. Se puede ver en Hickdesign.
- Esquinas redondeadas. Tema estrella este, sin duda. Y con la ayuda de las múltiples técnicas para hacer esquinas redondeadas, la cosa está más que resuelta y lista para ser aplicada. No hay excusa. Se puede ver en la web de Warp Networks.
- Enlaces iluminados. Los enlaces dejan de tener el subrayado y pasan a estar iluminados, a través de un color de fondo que los distinga. Se puede ver en Whitespace.
No es que Rachel este inventando el hilo negro. Es más muchas de las predicciones que hace ya se vienen usando desde hace tiempo, pero pueden ser de gran ayuda si pensamos rediseñar el blog.

unpaid volunteer player, and the kinks hadn’t been worked out as far as the
EULA which forbid the buying and selling of intellectual property.
