Esta mañana se dio a conocer la lista de los nominados a los Premios Oscar 2016. En su edición 88, vemos a varios mexicanos compitiendo por el preciado premio. Lubezki va por su tercer Oscar a mejor fotografía, Iñarritú con su película “The Revenant” se llevó nada menos que 12 nominaciones incluyendo Mejor Actor (DiCaprio) y Mejor Película.
Este año la gala será el 28 de febrero en el Dolby Theatre en Hollywood, California y será conducido por Chris Rock.
Los nominados a Mejor Película incluyen The Revenant, The Big Short, Mad Max: Fury Road, Bridge of Spies, Brooklyn, The Martian y Room.
Después de llevarse el premio en los Globos de Oro, Leonardo DiCaprio tiene una oportunidad de finalmente ganar su primer premio de la Academia con su papel en The Revenant que le valió una nominación al Mejor Actor. Está en contra de Michael Fassbender (Steve Jobs), Eddie Redmayne (The Danish Girl), Bryan Cranston (Trumbo) y Matt Damon (The Martian).
Como Mejor Actriz está: Cate Blanchett (Carol), Brie Larson (Room), Jennifer Lawrence (Joy), Charlotte Rampling (45 Years), y Saoirse Ronan (Brooklyn).
Mientras que las felicitaciones son sin duda, para todos los nominados, como The Hollywood Reporter señala, por segundo año consecutivo no hay actores de color nominados en las cuatro categorías de actuación.
Entre los nominados al Mejor Director: Alejandro González Iñárritu (The Revenant), Adam McKay (The Big Short),George Miller (Mad Max: Fury Road), Lenny Abrahamson (Room), y Tom McCarthy (Spotlight).
